Srinagar district clinches top spot in Jal Jeevan Survekshan 2023's "Front Runners" category

Srinagar/IBNS: Srinagar district has secured the coveted top position in the "Front Runners" category of the esteemed Jal Jeevan Survekshan 2023. 

The achievement underscores the unwavering dedication displayed by the entire Jal Jeevan Mission team in Srinagar, with a special acknowledgment of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohd Aijaz Asad, reports ANI.

The commendable accolade has garnered recognition, including heartfelt congratulations from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who conveyed his appreciation via Twitter.

"Heartiest congratulations to team Srinagar administration and DC Sgr Mohd Aijaz Asad for securing the top rank in the 'Front Runners' category during Jal Jeevan Survekshan 2023," stated the Lieutenant Governor.

Conducted from October 2022 to June 2023, the Jal Jeevan Survekshan 2023 rigorously evaluated districts nationwide on the efficiency of their water supply and management systems.

Srinagar's exemplary performance not only demonstrates its steadfast commitment to ensuring optimal water supply but also sets a remarkable precedent for other regions to emulate.
