Sushma raises 'snooping' issue with Kerry
New Delhi, July 31 (IBNS): Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Thursday raised the snooping issue with US Secretary Secretary of State John F. Kerry here.
Addressing a joint press conference, Swaraj said: "We raised the issue with him. . I told him that the people of India were very angry about it. I told him that two friendly nations cannot snoop on each other.”
External Affairs Minister of India Sushma Swaraj and Secretary of State John F. Kerry led their respective delegations to the fifth annual India-U.S. Strategic Dialogue where both the leaders committed to intensify efforts to combat terrorism.
Kerry reached India on Wednesday.
