Two Jawans, two terrorists killed in Kashmir encouner

Srinagar, Sept 11 (IBNS) Two army jawans and two terrorists have been killed in an overnight encounter at Handwara in north Kashmir's Kupwara district, reports said.

The gun-battle began on Thursday night  after the army cordoned off Laribal village of Zachaidara  following information that terrorists were hiding there. The encounter is still on.

The soldiers who were killed belonged to the 21 Rashtriya Rifles.

Details are still awaited.
