Uttar Pradesh: 4 killed in road accident due to fog in Kanpur

Kanpur/UNI: Four people, including 2 women, of a family were killed and two others injured when their car met with an accident due to dense fog in Ghatampur area of Kanpur district early Tuesday morning, police sources said.

The police sources here said that the SUV was hit by an unknown vehicle near Jahanjirabad.

The deceased were identifies as Sartaz Alam (50), Mohammad Shahid (40), Turiya(35) and Rizwana (36). The injured were rushed to the hospital.

The family was returning from a marriage function when the accident occurred.
