Uttar Pradesh: Couple killed in road accident

Rai Bareli, Jul 15 (UNI) A couple was killed when a speeding car rammed into their bike in the Lalganj area of this district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

Police sources here said that Rukesh Singh (42) was returning with his wife Urvashi Singh (38) after paying obeisance at the ancient Shiv temple Baleshwaran near Rail-coach factory on a motorcycle.

A speeding car coming from the side of Lalganj rammed into their motorcycle, resulting in on the spot death of the duo.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and police is on the lookout for the car driver.
