Actor Paresh Rawal, who received first vaccine jab recently, tests COVID-19 positive

Mumbai: Actor Paresh Rawal on Saturday said he has tested COVID-19 positive.

Rawal had recently taken COVID-19 vaccine jab.

"Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested," Paresh Rawal tweeted.

On mar 9, the actor had shared an image of himself on Twitter getting the first dose of the vaccine.

He had tweeted: "V for vaccines. ! Thanks to All the Doctors and Nurses and the front line Health care workers and The Scientists.
Thanks @narendramodi ."

The actor was last seen in the movie Coolie No. 1.
