Mumbai/IBNS: Interior designer Sussanne Khan on Tuesday said Aryan Khan was "at the wrong place at the wrong time" in a reaction to social media users' "witch-hunting" Shah Rukh Khan's 23-year-old son after his sensational arrest in the Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case.

In the comment section of a journalist's Instagram post, Sussanne Khan, who is believed to be a close family friend of the Khans, wrote, "I think this is not about Aryan Khan, as he was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time."

"This situation is being made an example to drive home the excitement that some people get as they have a witch hunt on people from Bollywood," she added.

Sussanne Khan, who is the ex-wife of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, is said to be close to Aryan's mother Gauri Khan.

In her post, famous columnist Shobhaa De had claimed that Aryan Khan's arrest should be "a wakeup call for parents"

Sussanne's response was in reaction to the same.

Aryan Khan, 23, was on Monday denied bail and will remain in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)'s custody till Oct 7.

SRK's son and seven others were arrested after a raid at a party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai Saturday night by the NCB.
