Bengali film Pratyabartan completes 60 days in theatres
Kolkata/IBNS: Anjan Dutt and Roopa Ganguly starrer Bengali film Pratyabartan completed its sixty days in the box office.
Directed by Samarpan Sengupta, the film was released on May 1.
Veteran actress Roopa Ganguly said, "I'm very happy. The film turned out so incredible and Samarpan (director) has done so well. It is so nicely edited and the way the scenes were arranged back and forth was absolutely amazing."
Pratyabartan chooses to examine what those pursuits can quietly leave behind. It asks whether professional achievement can come at the cost of the relationships that once defined a family.
"The songs here were so impressive and the picturisation was also incredible. In short it was a wonderful film", Ganguly added.

The film unfolds through the life of Dr Dipankar Sanyal, a respected surgeon from rural Purulia who leaves his hometown behind in pursuit of greater opportunities in Kolkata. Alongside his wife Shalini and daughter Disha, he builds the life he had always aspired to—but not without consequences.
Actor-politician Rudranil Ghosh said, "A good film that runs 60 days successfully is not a small thing in today's time. This film stars many old and new talented artists whom I would like to thank and congratulate for their achievement."
As the family's aspirations grow, so does the emotional distance between them.
The demands of city life and professional success gradually replace moments of togetherness, leaving Disha searching for belonging in the virtual world of social media. What begins as a quest for acceptance slowly develops into a crisis that forces her parents to confront the emotional void within their own home.
Actor Silajit Majumder said, "I couldn't actually watch the film ever since its release, so today I'm actually excited to see it and we're really happy with the film's outcome."

Rather than relying on dramatic spectacle, Pratyabartan draws its strength from themes that have become increasingly familiar to modern audiences—parental absence despite physical presence, the fragile search for identity among teenagers and the quiet disconnect that often accompanies urban living.
"It is a very overwhelming moment for all of us today. We're celebrating 60 days with so many well-wishers and I would like to thank each of them," said director Samarpan Sengupta.
The celebration of the film's sixty-day theatrical run was attended by eminent personalities including Anamika Saha, Rudranil Ghosh, Biswanath Basu, Aryann Bhowmik, Indraadip Das Gupta and several other members of the film fraternity, adding to the significance of the occasion.
