Bohurupi's poster hints at faceoff between Abir Chatterjee and Shiboprosad Mukherjee

Kolkata/IBNS: Windows has just unveiled an intriguing motion poster for their much-anticipated film, Bohurupi, featuring a dynamic face-off between Abir Chatterjee and the director actor Shiboprosad Mukherjee.

The poster not only highlights the tension between the two characters, Sumanta and Bikram, but also sets the stage for what promises to be an electrifying cinematic journey.

The film is being hailed as 'Bengal’s first action chase drama', positioning it as a groundbreaking entry into the genre.

As the excitement builds for its release this festive season, Bohurupi is generating buzz with its innovative approach and compelling storyline.

In the motion poster, viewers are treated to a dramatic confrontation between Abir Chatterjee and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, emphasizing the intense dynamics of their roles.

Abir's character is depicted in a high-energy chase scene, running with palpable urgency, while Shiboprosad, embodying a more composed demeanor, is seen casually smoking a cigarette, hinting at his character’s enigmatic and possibly menacing nature.

This contrast not only adds to the visual allure of the poster but also teases the complex interplay of personalities and stakes within the film.

As the release date approaches, Bohurupi is poised to capture the audience’s imagination with its blend of action, drama, and the unique flair of Bengal’s evolving cinematic landscape.

Sharing his experience director actor Shiboprosad Mukherjee said, "With Bohurupi, I am grateful to Nandita Roy and Windows for entrusting me with the role of Bikram.

This character has full of aspirations and dreams, and has allowed me to explore new dimensions in my acting journey. The chance to work alongside Abir Chatterjee as a co-actor for the first time has been an exhilarating experience.

"The motion poster offers just a glimpse into an action chase drama on a very big scale. The intense face-off and contrasting energies between Abir and myself are just the beginning of the electrifying journey we have in store. This film is a bold leap into a new cinematic territory. Director Nandita Roy shared her experience, saying, "What was once a dream is now a reality. ‘Bohurupi’ was filmed over 35 days at 84 different locations throughout Bengal and features 100 Bohurupis.

"We aimed to capture the essence of our imagination in every frame."
