Daddy time for Deepika Padukone

Mumbai, Sept 14 (IBNS): Deepika Padukone took some time off her hectic work schedule and indulged in some daddy time by playing a friendly Badminton match with her father, Prakash Padukone.

Apart from being a celebrated actor, Deepika Padukone is also a talented badminton player. The daughter of former badminton star Prakash Padukone, Deepika pursued the sport throughout school, and also played in various national level championships.

Deepika's father recently visited the city and Deepika took advantage of this opportunity to play the sport when her father.

“She has been shooting non-stop, but she made sure that she found some time to spend with her father. After a long time, Deepika and Prakash played a badminton match together. She used to play with him regularly when she used to live in Bengaluru (her hometown). Now, she hardly gets the time to pursue the sport in Mumbai,” says a source close to Deepika, adding that the Bollywood actor also discussed her upcoming projects with her father.

Deepika Padukone will be seen next in Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The films trailer is set to release on Sept 22 and is to release on Nov 25.
