Deepika Padukone gets nominated for the Teen Choice Awards!

Mumbai, June 21 (IBNS): From a stellar Hollywood debut in xXx: Return of Xander Cage to recently turning heads at Cannes; actress Deepika Padukone has been one of the most talked about international stars over the past year.

With a global status that is only rising with every passing day, Deepika’s nomination for the Teen Choice Award in the category of ‘Choice Action Movie Actress’ for xXx: Return of Xander Cage comes as no surprise! Her portrayal of Serena Unger in the movie earned her major critical acclaim thus securing a much-deserved place for herself internationally and in our hearts.

Fans took to social media to nominate the star for her action-packed performance in xXx and the nomination is proof of her growing fan base universally.

The actress shares the category with the likes of Wonder Woman fame Gal Gadot to her peers from the xXx series, Ruby Rose and Nina Dobrev amongst others.
