Jagga Jasoos a misadventure, says Taran Adarsh

Mumbai, Jul 15 (IBNS): Veteran Bollywood movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh strongly put down Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos as a misadventure.

Adarsh took to Twitter to air his view.

"#OneWordReview...#JaggaJasoos: Unbearable. This one's a misadventure... EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT!" his tweet read.

However, the critic praised Ranbir Kapoor's acting chops.

"#JaggaJasoos: Ranbir shines in a film that's a costly, boring and an overstretched experiment," he said.

Directed by Anurag Basu and starring Katrina Kaif opposite her former beau Ranbir, the movie released on Jul 14 to mixed reviews.

However, it had a moderate start at the box office, garnering over eight crores on the inaugural day.

"#JaggaJasoos Fri ₹ 8.57 cr. India biz," Adarsh tweeted.
