Mumbai, Aug 26 (IBNS) Bollywood actress Kirti Sanon will celebrate this year's Raksha Bandhan with her sister.

Nupur Sanon, Kirti's younger sister will fly down from Delhi to Mumbai to join her for the Raksha Bandhan celebrations, sources close to the actress have confirmed.

Kirti and her younger sibling celebrate Raksha Bandhan much like any other brother and sister does, the source said.

“They tie Rakhis to each other, and spend the day with their family,” said the source.

“So Nupur will be flying down to Mumbai, and they will have a short celebration in the city,” the source said.

Kirti who confirmed the news, said, “Yes, my sister will be here on Raksha Bandhan. The day shouldn’t just be about a brother promising to protect his sister. Siblings could make a similar promise too, just like my sister and I have been doing since childhood.”
