Makers release new poster of Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Petta

Chennai, Sept 8 (IBNS): Southern superstar Rajinikanth will soon be appearing in Petta.

The first poster and name of the movie was released on Friday by its makers.

The movie is featuring Rajinikanth and  Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "Rajinikanth. Nawazuddin Siddiqui... First look poster of Rajinikanth's new movie #Petta... Directed by Karthik Subbaraj."

Meanwhile, Nawazuddin is awaiting for the release of Nandita Das directorial film Manto. The actor will be seen playing the character of Indo-Pakistani Urdu author Saadat Hasan Manto in the film.

Manto is slated to release in India on Sept 21.

The 44-year old actor, who made his Bollywood debut in 1999 with Sarfarosh, has received critical acclaims for her performance in Netflix series Sacred Games (Season 1).
