Money Heist director picks Ayushmann Khurrana as Professor, SRK as Berlin in Bollywood remake

Mumbai/IBNS: At a time the social media users are busy in choosing who would best suit in different roles of Netflix's popular web series Money Heist, Alex Rodrigo, the director of the Spanish-language show, came out with his own picks for a Bollywood remake.

During an interview with a YouTube channel, Rodrigo picked Ayushmann Khurrana for the Professor's role and superstar Shah Rukh Khan for Berlin's character.

Professor is the protagonist of the show (La casa de papel in Spanish) while Berlin plays a crucial role in the web series.

However, the Money Heist director had picked the two Indian stars for the characters based on appearances.

Indian-origin actor based in Spain, Ajay Jethi, earned recognition in India and Pakistan by playing a short role of a hacker who used to assist the Professor onscreen.

When IBNS had earlier asked Jethi as to who would suit in the Professor's role, the actor had picked late Irrfan Khan (the interview was taken before Irrfan Khan's demise).

The social media users are divided in choosing the India actor who could essay the Professor's role.

While some want Khurrana in the protagonist's role, others believe SRK is the only option.
