No competition with Salman, Akshay on television: Shah Rukh Khan

| @indiablooms | Oct 06, 2017, at 10:18 pm
Mumbai, Oct 6 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has said he is not competing with his co-actors like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, as all of them will be hosting three different television shows at the same time.

Khan, who will be back as a host on television soon, said: "Salman and Akshay are in a league of their own. I am not even competing with them right now..they are doing wonderfully well.'

Khan will be seen in a show called Ted Talk while other two Bollywood superstars, Salman and Akshay, are hosting Big Boss season 11 and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, respectively.

Khan feels his show, Ted Talk, will be different from the ones hosted by Salman and Akshay. "I think this (Ted Talk) really is a kind of different platform were it has a different sensibility. Its a new thing. I am not saying their's is old, been that, done that, I think its wonderful what they are doing....I think this show is little different from them but it does not make it better or worse."

"I think this will be run in a lane of its own, not competing with anyone" the 51-year old actor added.

He reacted to what Salman Khan said few days back that both Akshay and Khan will face the competition on television.

Speaking about Ted Talk, Khan said the show will be hopeful and inspiring.

Highlighting the uniqueness of the show, Khan said: "..It will have entertainment. Its not plugged in as trying to get an X amount of rating or 20 amount of audience. It genuinely is sharing a great idea so it does have its own lane that it is running."

Khan, who has started his acting career on small screen, earlier hosted TV shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kya Aap Pannchvi Pass Se Tez Hain, Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout, and Indian Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun.
