No legal notice received: Shruti Hassan

Mumbai, Mar 30 (IBNS) Actress Shruti Hassan has said that she has not received any legal notice amid reports that she has been barred by a Hyderabad court to sign new films till her earlier commitment to a southern movie producer was met.

Shruti's spokesperson told media: "Shruti or Rajkamal films International or her team have not received any legal notice or injunction from anyone."

Earlier reports said she was barred by a Hyderabad court from accepting any assignment to work in a feature film before completion of shooting of an untitled southern movie till April 8.

Reports said proceedings were initiated against her by the producers of the southern movie after she allegedly did not meet her commitment on shooting.

An actress, singer and musician Shruti Hassan works in both Bollywood and in South Indian films. She is daughter of actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika.
