PM Modi condoles demise of actor Vikram Gokhale

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief on the demise of actor Vikram Gokhale.

Condoling the actor's death, Modi tweeted: “Vikram Gokhale Ji was a creative and versatile actor. He will be remembered for many interesting roles in his long-acting career. Saddened by his demise. Condolences to his family, friends and admirers. Om Shanti.”

Vikram Gokhale, who is known for his performance both on TV and the big screen, died on Saturday, leaving the film industry in a state of sadness. He was 77.

The actor died in Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital due to multi-organ failure.

Actor Anupam Kher tweeted: "News of his death has deeply saddened me. He was a very dear friend! BRILLIANT actor & person! ओम शांति!"

Actor Akshay Kumar said: "Very sad to know of the demise of Vikram Gokhale ji. Worked with him in films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Mission Mangal had so much to learn from him. Om Shanti."
