Post-mortem shows cause of Sushant Singh's death as 'asphyxia due to hanging': Doctors

Mumbai/UNI: The provisional post-mortem report of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has revealed cause of his death as "asphyxia due to hanging".

A team of three doctors has conducted autopsy of Sushant Singh, who allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in western suburb of Bandra on Sunday, police said.

The doctors have submitted the post-mortem report to the Bandra police station, sources added.  

The last rites of the actor was performed on Monday.

He was found dead in his Mumbai residence on Sunday.

He had earned love from his fans for his performance in several Bollywood movies.
