Mumbai, Feb 26 (IBNS): Vishal Bhardwaj's film Rangoon, which released on Friday, had a very slow start.

According to Taran Adarsh, the film made Rs.6.07 crore on Friday.

"#Rangoon has a dismal start... Fri ₹ 6.07 cr. India biz... Will need to show massive growth on Sat + Sun to sustain and survive," Adarsh tweeted.

Rangoon is a period film set during the Second World War and has a reference to freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s INA (Indian National Army).

The film has Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.
