Kolkata, Feb 10 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Tabu has expressed her eagerness to participate in a Bengali film during a recent visit to the city.

On the sidelines of an event in the city, Tabu said: "I hope to do a good Bengali film. I really want to do a nice Bangla (Bengali) film now."

Tabu (46) has so far acted in only one Bengali film Abar Aranye (In the Forest... Again). Abar Aranye released in 2003.

Tabu was last seen in Rohit Shetty 's comedy-horror film Golmaal Again, which had released last year.

She has recently finished working in Sriram Raghavan's film, which will release in June. The film is yet to get a title.

Tabu has received critical acclaims for her acting in Haider (2014) and Drishyam (2015).

She was present in the city on Saturday to inaugurate third Dum Dum International Film Festival organised by West Bengal Information Technology and Electronics minister and Trinamool Congress MLA Bratya Basu.
