Rohit Roy promotes new show Khooni Saaya in Kolkata

| | May 21, 2015, at 09:33 pm
Kolkata, May 21 (IBNS): Actor Rohit Roy, who will be seen hosting 'Khooni Saaya', visited Kolkata on Wednesday to promote his upcoming non-fiction show.

Accompanied by Arun Thapar, Vice President- Programming, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, Roy unveiled a teaser of the show.

While talking about the show, Roy said, "What I found to be extremely interesting is to pick up stories which are not home-bred and then weave into a story that becomes palatable to the Indian audience".

The show promises to be one of its kind, in a way that at the end of every episode perpetrators can be seen being brought to justice.

"In my opinion, Khooni Saaya really is a captivating new series where the stories are told from an investigator's point-of-view. That makes the show an engrossing experience for the audience," he said.

Roy said, "I am attempting such a show for the first time and shows like this has a certain fanbase in India. So when I was given the brief about the show then I was convinced that I'm going to do this".

Investigation Discovery was launched last year in India and is the first channel dedicated entirely to crime based shows.

The show Khooni Saaya will premiere on June 1 and will be aired from Monday to Satuday at 8pm on Investigation Discovery.
