Sanjay Dutt biopic to release on Jun 29

Mumbai, Jan 5 (IBNS): The much waited biopic on Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be released on June 29.

The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, who is essaying the role of the 'Khalnayak' actor.

The yet untitled movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, who directed Dutt in the acclaimed Munnabhai series.

It is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Hirani himself.

Dutt, the son of legendary actress Nargis and acclaimed actor Sunil Dutt, has been involved in a series of controversial events, one among which was the possession of illegal arms and his connection with the infamous Mumbai Blasts, for which he also served a jail-term.
