Shashi Kapoor will be missed: Sonam Kapoor

Mumbai, Dec 5 (IBNS): Actress Sonam Kapoor on Tuesday said late Indian actor Shashi Kapoor will be missed.

"An incredibly sad day for Indian cinema, we've lost one of our greatest actors and the entire industry mourns. Shashi Uncle wasn't just a brilliant actor but also a great human and we miss him greatly," Sonam tweeted.

Shashi Kapoor passed away on Monday.

He was 79

Shashi, who was part of the iconic Kapoor dynasty, had worked in numerous Bollywood movies which included Sharmilee, Kabhi Kabhie, Baseraa, Deewar, Jab Jab Phool Khile, Satyam Shivan Sundaram, A Gale Lag Ja, Suhaag, Kanyadaan and Utsav among others.

His romantic paring with many Bollywood heroines led to several super hit films.
