Mumbai, July 16(IBNS): Former Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh's biopic Soorma has collected Rs. 13.85 crore in its first three days.

The Shaad Ali-directed movie which hit the screens last Friday has had a relatively quite start. Sharing  its collection, Bollywood movie reviewer and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted," #Soorma has decent weekend... Considering the low start on Fri morning, the biz did escalate over the weekend, but the jump on Sun wasn't substantial enough... Maintaining the pace on weekdays is important... Fri 3.20 cr, Sat 5.05 cr, Sun 5.60 cr. Total: ₹ 13.85 cr. India biz."

The Diljit Dosanjh starrer narrates the story of Singh, who made a comeback to the national team after a gunshot injury left him in a wheelchair.

The movie also features Taapsee Pannu, Angad Bedi, Vijay Raaz and Satish Kaushik in crucial roles.
