Mumbai/IBNS: There is a Shah Rukh Khan song to celebrate every occasion and as India's lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 successfully soft-landed on the South Polar region of the Moon on Wednesday, the Bollywood superstar borrowed lyrics from 'Yes Boss' song 'Chaand Taare' to laud the historic moment.

In the film, SRK sings Chaand Taare to his co-star Juhi Chawla and the romantic lyrics lend themselves perfectly to India's moon touchdown.

In his post, the Bollywood superstar wrote: "Chaand Taare todh laoon….Saari Duniya par main chhaoon. Aaj india aur @isro chhaa gaya. Congratulations to all the scientists and engineers…the whole team which has made India so proud. Chandrayaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon. #Chandrayaan3."

The success of this Moon mission has made India the fourth country to master the technology of soft landing on the lunar surface after the US, China, and the erstwhile Soviet Union.

Other celebs' reactions:

SRK was joined by other celebs from his fraternity to hail the moment. His co-star in several hit-films Kajol wrote: "Congratulations @isro  for achieving great success on #Chandrayaan3 ..Feeling incredibly joyful and proud 🇮🇳"

Actor Hrithik Roshan joined the congratulatory train writing: "My heart swells with pride a little more today, as I witness my people soar high and give their very best. Congratulations & all my respect to @isro & the geniuses behind #Chandrayaan3's lunar exploration mission. #IndiaOnTheMoon 🇮🇳"
