Asian Games: Pranab Mukherjee congratulates Indian athletes

New Delhi, Sept 28 (IBNS):President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday congratulated Indian athletes for winning gold medals in the ongoing Asian Games.

The President's Secretariat said in a statement: " The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated Shri Rajat Chauhan, Shri Sandeep Kumar, and Shri Abhishek Verma for winning the Gold Medal in Archery (Men’s Compound Team); Ms. Trisha Deb, Ms. Purvasha Sudhir Shende and Ms. Jyothi Surekha Vennam for winning a Bronze Medal in Archery (Women’s Compound Team) and Shri Sandeep Sejwal for winning a Bronze Medal in Swimming (Men’s 50m Breaststroke) at the Asian Games – 2014 at Incheon."

In individual messages, the President said, “Your achievement is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication. You have made all Indians proud and proved that hard work always bring laurels."

"My best wishes are also with you for more success in the future," he said.
