Australian bowlers stun India in final ODI match, clinch series

New Delhi, Mar 13 (IBNS): Australia stunned India in the final match of the series to clinch as the visitors defeated the home side by 35 runs here on Wednesday.

After Australia posted 272 runs for the loss of nine wickets, India were bowled out for 237 runs.

Cummins, Richardson and Stoinis picked up two wickets each while Zampa aded three as Australian bowlers dominated the proceedings in the match.

Rohit Sharma remained the top scorer for India as he added 56 runs with his willow.

He hit four boundaries in the innings.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar remained the second top scorer for India with his 46 runs knock in a match Rishabh Pant (16), Vijay Shankar (16) and Virat Kohli (20) failed to convert the start they got in the match.

Interestingly, Australia were 2-0 down in the series and came back strongly to win three consecutive matches to clinch the trophy.
