CAB feliciates former Indian skipper MS Dhoni

Kolkata, Jan 22 (IBNS) The packed up Eden Gardens stadium chanted “Dhoni”, “Dhoni” as Cricket Assoiation of Bengal (CAB) felicitated former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni here on Sunday.

Dhoni retired as the captain of  Indian team  before the start of this ongoing series.

He was felicitated by  Cricket Assocition of Bengal  after the completion of England innings  here this evening.

Another Indian cricket legend   Kapil Dev handed over a glittering crustal trophy to Dhoni  on behalf of CAB in presence of  other Indian cricket  legends like Sunil Gavaskar and  Sourav Ganguly.

Ganguly is also  the president of the CAB.

The CAB also named four  stands  of the stadium after  former  CAB  presidents – Biswanath Dutta and  late Jag Mohan Dalmiya ,  late Indian test opener Pankaj Roy and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly.
