CSK beat Hyderabad in IPL thriller

Hyderabad, Apr 22 (IBNS): Cricket lovers in Hyderabad cherished every moment of the IPL match where Chennai Super Kings managed to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by four runs here on Sunday

Batting first, CSk posted 182 runs for the loss of three wickets and then managed to restrict fighting Hyderabad at 178 runs for six.

After losing three quick wickets of Bhui (0), Manish Pandey (0) and Hooda (1), Hyderabad made strong comeback in the match under the guidance of skipper Kane Williamson.

Williamson played stylish shots all around the park as he contributed 51-ball 84 runs to help his side recover from the initial trouble.

He hit five boundaries and equal number of sixes in the innings.

Shakib Al Hasan (24) and Yusuf Pathan (45) gave him strong and important company at the other end of the crease.

However, after they departed, CSK was given one last scare by Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan (17*).

Coming down to the park with a purpose, Khan hit two sixes and a boundary in his unbeaten four-ball 17 runs knock.

Khan hit two boundaries and a six in his knock that moved the hosts closer to victory.

However, CSK managed to beat the hosts by four runs.

Chahar picked up three wickets for CSK.

Earlier, riding on Suresh Raina's 54 and

Ambati Rayudu's 79 runs, CSK scored 182 runs in their 20 overs.

MS Dhoni contributed quick-fire 12-ball 25 runs, smashing three boundaries a six in his innings.
