Dhara shines as CAB Green win

Kolkata: Dhara Gujjar continued her superb form to help CAB Green maintain winning momentum by beating Maroon team by 3 wickets in CAB Women's One Day tournament today.

Electing to bat first Maroon team amassed 193 all out and Green team chased it down thanks to Dhara's 84 in 40.5 overs.

Earlier Maroon skipper Jhumia Khatun hit 47 while Sush Ganguly was the highest wicket-taker for Green with 3 for 25.

While chasing Dhara smashed 84 off 78 balls along with a well-made 46 from Rupa Dutta to master the chase and Jhumia starred with the ball too bagging 2 wickets. Mamani Roy bagged 1 wicket and scored 21 runs for Maroon team.

In another match Mita Paul bagged 4 wickets to power CAB Pink defeat Yellow team by 8 wickets.

Batting first Yellow team were bundled out for 111 runs as Mita took 4 along with Tapati Pal (2-23), Antara Ghosh's (2-19) good spell.

While chasing skipper Mita stayed unbeaten on 39 along with Tapati (22) to win the match in 31 overs.
