I wasn't even 10 percent of that at 19: Virat Kohli says describing Shubman Gill

| @indiablooms | Jan 28, 2019, at 12:39 pm

New Delhi, Jan 28 (IBNS): Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Monday appreciated Shubman Gill and described him as an 'exciting talent'.

Gill might play for India from the next ODI match of the series against New Zealand when Virat Kohli will be rested.

Rohit Sharma will lead the side in Kohli's absence.

Appreciating Gill after India defeated New Zealand in the third ODI match to clinch the series 3-0, Kohli was quoted as saying: "Some outstanding talent coming through. Saw Shubman batting in the nets, I wasn't even 10 percent of that at 19."

Gill was part of the Under 19 World Cup squad which clinched the trophy in New Zeland last year.

He was also picked up by Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders.Im
