Karun Nair replaces injured Shikhar Dhawan in Test team

New Delhi, Oct 3 (IBNS): Indian cricketer Karun Nair has been named as the replacement for injured Shikhar Dhawan in the Indian Test team which is playing series against New Zealand.

"The All-India Senior Selection Committee have named batsman Karun Nair as the replacement for injured opener Shikhar Dhawan in the Indian Team," reada BCCI statement.

Dhawan has been ruled out of the third Test of the Paytm Test series against New Zealand after he sustained a minor fracture on his left hand. 

India has already captured the Test series by winning the first two matches.
