Indore/IBNS: Mayank Agarwal smashed memorable 243 runs as India took 343 runs lead against Bangladesh at the end of the second day fo the first Test match here on Friday.

He hit 28 boundaries and eight sixes in his knock.

Virat Kohli failed to deliver with the willow and contrite no runs with the willow.

Pujara (54), Ajinkya Rahane (86) and Ravindra Jadeja (60) made crucial contributions with the bats.

India finished the day's proceedings at 493 runs for the loss of six wickets.

Abu Jayed took four wickets in the match.

Bangladesh were bowled out for 150 runs.
