Manchester, Apr 22 (IBNS): Manchester United has sacked manager David Moyes and on Tuesday said player-coach Ryan Giggs take charge for the first team 'until a permanent appointment can be made'.

It said: "The club will make no further comment on this process until it is concluded."

Moyes was sacked only ten months after he was handed over the task.
