Under-19 teams for Challenger tournament announced
Mumbai, Oct 24 (IBNS): The Junior National Selection Committee met earlier on Saturday at Bhubaneswar to select the India Green, India Blue and India Red teams for the Under-19 Challenger tournament after the conclusion of inter zonal one-day limited overs tournament for Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
The tournament will be played in Pune from October 28 to 31, 2015.
BCCI Honorary Secretary Anurag Thakur said, “This tournament is being held for the first time under the aegis of the BCCI and it will provide a platform for players to perform and gain a place in the India Under 19 team for the ICC U19 World Cup (Bangaldesh, 2016).
India GREEN: Rishabh Pant (DDCA) – Captain, Himanshu Rana (Haryana CA), Digvijay Ranji (HPCA), Sarfaraz Khan (UPCA), Arman Jaffer (Mumbai CA), Himmat Singh (DDCA), Pradeep Pramanick (CAB), Vikram Vinayak (JSCA), Sumit Gosain (Gujarat CA), Kaushik Sheth (CAB), Avesh Khan (MPCA), Rinku Singh (UPCA).
India BLUE: Shivam Choudhary (UPCA), Washington Sundar (TNCA), Amandeep Khare (CSCS), Ricky Bui (Andhra CA) - Captain, Anmolpreet Singh (Punjab CA), Kaushal Singh (JSCA), Agnipan (CAB), Rahul Batham (MPCA), Zaashan Ansari (UPCA), Yogesh Sharma (DDCA), Shubham Mavi (UPCA), Mrinmoy Dutta (Assam CA).
