New Delhi, Aug 8 (IBNS): It is the duty of the state governments and the administration of Union Territories to ensure safety of tourists and to take precautionary measure to prevent any untoward incident, including declaring of ‘Selfie Danger Zones’ at tourist sites, said Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State (I/C) for Culture and Tourism in a written reply in Lok Sabha on Monday.

He informed the Lok Sabha that the governments of Karnataka and Maharashtra have informed that they have taken measures to create awareness through signages indicating danger zones including selfie danger zones.
