1 dies in Austrian trains collision, 22 injured

Vienna, Feb 13 (IBNS): At least one person was killed and 22 others were injured as two passenger trains collided in central Austria on Tuesday, media reports said.

Three children were among those hurt when a train crashed the side of another near the station in Niklasdorf, a town 40 miles north of the city of Graz, The Independent reported.

The crash left several carriages derailed.

Rescue team rushed to the spot after the mishap.

The actual reason of the clash is still not known.

The identity of the deceased person is still not known.

Media reports quoting  Austrian Federal Railways said the collision involved one  regional train and an intercity train.
