Afghanistan: At least 70 Taliban insurgents killed in Laghman
Kabul, Mar 13 (IBNS): The Taliban's attempt to capture Laghman province in Afghanistan turned out to be fatal as 70 insurgents were gunned down by forces, local Khaama Press reported.
The Incident also left 50 other insurgents wounded.
The news was confirmed by the provincial government.
Many senior Taliban leaders, including Khalis, Khalid, Janat Gul, Mohammad and Atal Omarzai were also killed in the encounter, the agency quoted officials as saying.
