Kabul/Xinhua/UNI:  Four Afghan high-voltage electricity workers were injured in a bomb attack near a power pylon in Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Monday, authorities said.

Terrorists detonated a bomb and damaged a power pylon in Police District 17, north of Kabul last night.

Personnel of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat tried to repair the damaged tower and were hurt by an improvised explosive device blast at the site, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, the country's power supply company said in a statement.

Two of the victims sustained life-threatening wounds, according to the statement.

The anti-government militants blew up a power pylon on northern outskirts of Kabul, and left Kabul and several other provinces in darkness last week.

The Afghan National Police arrested six armed members of a gang, who were involved in destroying the power pylon days after the destruction.
