Afghanistan: Gun and bomb attack in Kabul mosque kills 30
Kabul, Oct 20 (IBNS): Unknown gunman opened fire on people visiting a Shia mosque to worship before detonating explosives on Friday which left at least 30 people killed, media reports said.
The attack left 45 others injured.
Kabul Police spokesman Abdul Basir Mujahid confirmed to Tolo News the explosion but said the type of the blast is not known so far.
Eyewitnesses told Tolo News women and children were among those who were killed and wounded in the mosque attack.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
