Afghanistan: Kabul explosion kills senior police officer
Kabul, Jul 4 (IBNS): A senior police officer was killed in an explosion which took place in Kabul city on Monday afternoon, local Khaama Press reported.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Samad Zalmai.
Zalmai worked as the chief of Parwan police's Criminal Investigation Department.
He was killed after a magnetic bomb planted in his car went off. His driver was injured in the blast.
No group has claimed responsibility for carrying out the attack so far.
