Afghanistan: Unknown gunmen torch Baghlan school

Kabul, July 3 (IBNS) Unknown gunmen has torched down a school in the Nahrain district of Afghanistan's northern Baghlan province, media reports said on Sunday.

Mohammad Afzal, principal of Gulmiran High School, told Pajhwok Afghan News a number of armed men injured the guard before setting the building on fire at around 11:30pm.

The office has been completely gutted.

Mohammad Afzal was quoted as saying by the agency: “The fire was extinguished by residents, but it completely gutted the office and partially damaged classrooms.”
