Air strikes kill above 25 militants in Pakistan

Rawalpindi, July 16(IBNS Pakistan on Wednesday said more than 25 militants have been killed in air strikes in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Wednesday.

" Early morning today 6 x hardcore Terrorists hideouts in Shawal, North Waziristan Agency were destroyed by jet aircrafts. In these precise strikes 27 x terrorists were killed. There is no civil population in the area," Pakistan's  Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

"Security has been beefed up in all major cities and towns and at sensitive installations across the country by civil administration. Army troops have been alerted and forward placed to assist law enforcement agencies. They will remain at designated places and whenever asked by civil administration will be employed in case of emergency," it said.
