Australian police arrest man for threatening disruptions in New Year's eve
Sydney, Dec 30 (IBNS): A 40-year-old man has been arrested by Australian anti terror police for making threats to disrupt proceedings during Sydney's New year's eve celebrations, BBC reported.
The man was arrested at Sydney airport on Thursday following his arrival from London.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Frank Mennilli said that the threats were made on social media.
The man is believed to be working independently and isn't affiliated with any terror groups.
