Canada: Tickets for Fredericton benefit concert up for sale today

Fredericton, Aug 29 (IBNS): Tickets for the concert, which will benefit the Fredericton shooting victims, are up for sale on Wednesday.

Some of Atlantic Canada's popular singers will feature in the concert.

Canadian singers Classified and David Myles are expected to feature in the concert.

The concert will be held on Oct 6 at the Aitken Centre on the University of New Brunswick campus.

The profits of the concert will be spend for the local charities.

The concert will last for five hours.

The shooting, which took place on on Aug 10, killed four people.

Among the four deceased, two were police officers.

The officers were Const. Robb Costello (45) and Const. Sara Mae Burns (43). 

The third person killed was Donnie Robichaud (42), a father of three.

Police also released the name of the fourth victim.

She has been identified as Bobbie Lee Wright. The fourth victim was 32 years of age.  

Matthew Vincent Raymond, who has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder, appeared before the court couple of days ago.
