Canada: Two men shot in Kanata, one in critical condition

Ottawa, Mar 31 (IBNS): Two men were shot in Kanata, one of the largest suburbs of Ottawa, on Friday night, media reports said.

Both the men are in their 20s.

Ottawa Paramedics said they were called to Kanata Centrum at around 9.30 pm on Friday where they found two men with injuries in their bodies.

Both the men were taken to trauma centre. One of the victims is in critical condition while the other is stable.

The Guns and Gangs Unit has taken over the investigation from Ottawa police.

Following the shooting, the police had shut down the Eagleson Road overpass for the sake of investigation.
