Islamabad/Karachi/Beijing: China has 'strongly condemned' on Wednesday over the suicide attack outside the University of Karachi's (KU) Confucius Institute which left four people, incuding three Chinese nationals, dead.

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying condemned and tweeted: "We strongly condemn the terrorist attack targeting Chinese teachers at University of Karachi and express our condolences to the victims. Nothing will undermine China-Pakistan friendship."

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the blast which occurred inside Pakistan's Karachi University which left four people, including three Chinese nationals, dead on Tuesday.

Senior journalist Rezaul Hasan Laskar shared the statement issued by the group on his Twitter page and wrote: "Baloch Liberation Army claims suicide attack in Karachi that killed 3 Chinese nationals, says strike was carried out by woman suicide bomber."

Video footage of the attack has also surfaced on social media.

The BLA claimed the suicide attack was carried out by a woman suicide bomber.

The militant group operates mainly in Balochistan province
