Hanoi, Feb 27 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have arrived in Vietnam for their second meeting in recent times.

Kim arrived in Vietnam in his train while Trump, after landing in the country, tweeted: " Just arrived in Vietnam. Thank you to all of the people for the great reception in Hanoi. Tremendous crowds, and so much love!."

The US President once again encouraged North Korea to following the step of denuclearization, Trump said: "Vietnam is thriving like few places on earth. North Korea would be the same, and very quickly, if it would denuclearize. The potential is AWESOME, a great opportunity, like almost none other in history, for my friend Kim Jong Un. We will know fairly soon - Very Interesting!"

Trump and Kim had last met in June last year.

The meeting took place in Singapore.

The latest two-day summit will take place in the Vietnamese city of Hanoi from Feb 27 to 28.
