French President names Edouard Philippe as PM
Paris, May 15 (IBNS): Edouard Philippe has been named by President Emmanuel Macron as France's new Prime Minister.
He is from the centre-right Republicans.
Macron made the first big appointment since taking charge as the President of the European nation.
Emmanuel Macron was on Sunday sworn in as the President of France.
He registered a massive victory in the polls a week ago.
At 39, he has become the youngest President of the European nation.
